Why does your gas hot water heater pilot keep going out? |
[Edit] |
****Has anyone tried other kit?
You don't have to try something to understand that it works.
I've seen facts on the news and all over the Internet, that running a car on water IS possible. Even that I haven't tried doing it, it doesn't mean that it's impossible.
Has anyone tried the kit? like water4gas,runyourcaronwater etc.
Is it really a scam? if you don't satisfy you can asked for refund..no more pain

A Bad Thermo Coupling, This Looks Like A Solid Copper Wire Thick Screwed Into The Gas Valve On The Water Heater. It Runs From There To The Pilot Lite The Tip Sets Near The Flame. Remove It ( Very Simple ) Turn The Gas Off At The Heater. Drop By A Good Hardware Store They Can Match It Up For You. Don`t Cost Very Much. Install It Should Get You Going.

Another possible culprit may be waterheater vent height above the roof. In some situations this may periodically result in a downdraft situation that could cause the pilot light to go out. If this is the case adding to the vent height may help. Note: building code states that the B vent required height is based on the roof pitch but it must be 2' highter than any portion of the building within 8' of the vent.
