Why do you have a red tint to your antifreeze in your 2000 chevy malibu?

[Edit]

Answer

it's called dexcool.thats it's color

Answer

Dexcool is the standard coolant for all GM vehicles 1997 and newer (or so I'm told.) The coolant has an orange color. You are NOT to use green coolant, because it has a higher ethyl rating. It's possible to use the yellow color. (Yellow is supposed to work in vehicles for Dexcool and standard green.) If your coolant is red, then it needs to be flushed and replaced with the right stuff.
