Where is the fuel pump located on a 2000 Malibu?

Yes, the fuel pump is actually located in the gas tank. Older models used to come separately, but now it is all one piece. I paid $230 just for the part at a discount auto parts store, but other place woulda charged me $400+. Helps that I have a mechanic for a boyfriend. Good luck.
