What is the secret to removing the rear axles to replace the bearings on a 2000 GMC Safari 2WD?

you need to remove the rear axle cover then remove gear holding bolt usually a 8mm bolt head then remove pin about a inch in diameter, turn rear gears until you can sccess c-clips from axle with magnet then remove rear whells and brake drums then pull the axles out.
