The Older GTO`s Were Counterclockwise. I`m Almost Sure Yours Would Too. To Be Sure Take Off The Dist. Cap & Just Bump It Over & You Can Tell. Good Luck

All of the real Pontiac, Buick & Olds V8 engines used a counterclockwise rotating distributor except for the 307 which rotated clockwise.
