What is the difference between a Cessna 150 and a Cessna 152?

[Edit]

Cessna 150 and 152 Differences

The Cessna 150 had a Continental O-200-? engine while the 152 uses a Lycoming O-235-? engine and a different prop. The horsepower was increased from 100 to 110. The gross weight was increased from 1600 to 1660 lbs. The original plan was to increase the gross weight to 1700 lbs but an early static test wing failure for an aerobat condition created the need to reduce the goal. The original designation for the 152 was 150N. All of the certification reports were written as model 150N and had to be changed when marketing come up with the change to 152 late in the development. Overall, the 152 has an upgraded engine, higher gross weight, and increased cockpit space. They widened it by about 3 inches.
