Actually I had this happen when I was at a drive in, what caused the problem in my case was i had the dome light out so the interor lights wouldnt come on. You could simply have a burnt out dome light. I think this is an imoprtant factor especiall when you have one equiped with the factory alarm. Mine is a fully loaded (every option availabel) 2001 neon rt great car very few probles ever (180,000 miles)!!
