What do you call uncontrollable laughter in stressful situations?

[Edit]

Answer

It's a hysterical reaction to stress. Some people become quiet, possibly moody, will want to be alone, while others will be so stressed out they laugh and possibly burst into tears. These are people that need other people around them. While others are solemn and worried this type of person may spin off jokes, laugh, giggle, but they do feel the stress and it's the only way they know how to deal with it.
