What courses should you take in order to be a psychologist? |
[Edit] |
Many individuals pursuing a career as a psychologist will start with a Bachelors Degree with psychology as a major. At the completion of the degree, this does not make you a psychologist. You must go on for your graduate work, and most likely your doctorate to do anything meaningful in the field. However, there are graduate programs at a Master's level that lead to positions as a School Psychologist and a very few in Clinical Psychology at a Masters level.
The field of psychology can be broken down into many areas. The following link will be very helpful to you. It will give you a full view of the field, the different types of psychologists, position requirements, qualifications, nature of work, job outlook, related careers etc.
