What could cause your windows be clouded everytime you are using your heating system in your brougham 1990 Cadillac? |

If the vapor leaves a film on the windshield, it may be from a leaking heater core. If the vapor leaves no residue, check the drain in the bottom of the evaporator (on the engine side of the firewall) to make sure it isn't clogged and is trapping condensate from the air conditioner. In the Summer, a clogged drain will cause the evaporator case to fill with water and run into the passenger compartment.
Safety note: Be very careful when inspecting the drain. I've had water gush out of the drain and shatter the work lamp I was using underneath a vehicle.
