What Childcare options are available at Walt Disney World if you want to stay out past midnight?

[Edit]

Answer

In room babysitting is a thriving business in the Orlando area, as you might well imagine. It’s also secure and professional, with insured, bonded sitters over 18 trained in CPR. Some sitters have advanced medical training or education degrees, as well. You can feel secure –– complete background and reference checks are done on all sitters before they’re hired. Many are bilingual, and all arrive loaded with books, coloring books, and games. In addition to caring for your child in your room while you’re out, they will also take your child to a theme park or other entertainment venue like the Fort Wilderness Campfire, if you pay any admission fees.

My favorite is called Fairy Grandmothers. Two other companies are All About Kids, and Kid’s Nite Out, a Kinder-care company (which also serves non-Disney hotels in Orlando.) Call and make reservations well in advance, especially if you want a ‘hot’ date like New Year’s eve.
