Web Development (and Design)

I'm very fluent with PHP (With MySQL), Transitional XHTML (Leaning into Strict sometimes), and CSS. I don't work with the other client-side languages (like Javascript), for a number of reasons.

I do my own web design. I make my graphics, or have some of my close online friends do some work for me, if I need something more dynamic (I'll be getting photoshop soon, though. That should take care of my many graphical needs ;D).

As for programming, I'm tutoring myself in C (and it's branches). If it counts, I also know BASH shell commands, since I run a Linux (Ubuntu). My true place is in web development, though - and my only intention on learning these general programming languages is for the pleasure of saying I did it.

Music

I used to be part of the Guam Territorial Band (GTB) - the most musically inclined band on Guam (in fact, it's the official band of Guam). The military life, of which my parents lead, limits my rides downtown to the practice sessions - and I have no choice but to not go sometimes, more recently. I'll be limiting myself to the GTB Jazz band, which is just a branch of the normal GTB band (We're still the best band ;D).

And a little step down, I'm part of a casual whatever-genre-we-want band. We've called ourselves "xD", but we're not sure if that's permanent or not.

I play bass. That is my true passion in the musical arts. I like playing Jazz, rock, alternative, and some blues, among some other things. I'm used to the five-string setup, but with a few seconds, I can hop back over to a four-string.

Personality

I've been recognized by myself, and others, as a Confidant (INFJ). It's a personality type that describes me as a person that likes to make others feel happy - usually by helping them in some shape or form.

In my own general case, I like everybody to be happy. Poor or rich, tall or short, disabled or enabled; we all deserve to be high on life, in my opinion. I put on a smile and show it to others - it's contagious, you know. ;D
