I am a Food Technologist and am currently employed by the government. Fascinating work. Never a dull moment.

Ground Zero for me was the East Coast. Moved to the Midwest when we got married. Had two boys and moved to Georgia. Came back to the Chicago area just 22 years ago. Yep, the two boys are still at home, though one just completed his Doctorate in Physics and is trying to figure out what to do with it.

Three cats call our house theirs. We stopped replacing the dogs when work became full time. I totally believe in Rescue.

Gardening was a passion. Even made Master Gardener in Georgia, but there's that lack of time again and the yard here is tiny.

I'm here to have a good time and put a tiny bit of order in a chaotic world.
