I have 57 years on the planet to my credit, and a 23 year-old beautiful daughter who gave me a wonderful grandson who takes up a lot of my time.
I am currently writing a book about the things I have learned over my lifetime for my grandson (and my daughter). It will cover the practical and the metaphysical, which some will say is quite impractical.
I was a respiratory therapist for 29 years, working both in a teaching hospital and in the rural environment bringing respiratory therapy departments to rural hospitals.
I am medically retired and live behind the Redwood Curtain in Eureka, California. We have a median temperature of 67 degrees. It is rarely below 50, except at night when it may drop to 27 in the winter. If the temperature soars to 80 in the summer, we are miserable. Foggy and rainy in the winter and, I am told, much like Ireland. I love it. I live less than a mile from the Pacific Ocean, but it requires a wet suit to swim. It's beautiful.
