Hello Wiki-Visitor. Welcome to my Bio page.
I am a do-it-yourself enthusiast. I try to learn all I can about most anything I want to tackle and usually do my own work whenever the problem is not so technical that I have to seek profesional help.
I always keep the Owner's Manual to things I buy, and I also always purchase a Hayne's or Chilton's Repair Manual for any vehicle I buy. These manuals serve their purpose in trouble-shooting and help to save the cost of having a professional "look it over".
The best place to get free information is the local public library. I find the library to be a very useful resource when needing repair manuals for lawn mowers, small engines, appliances, etc. There is no fee and usually the check-out time is long enough to do the repairs - or at least to determine if you need professional help. You can also find information and how-to tips on just about any hobby you might want to start, or any special project you want to take upon yourself.
Sharing my knowledge and helping others is my way of thanking those who have so generously shared their knowledge with me. I try to research before I answer any questions on WikiAnswers so my answers can be as accurate as I can give them.
Sometimes I answer from personal experience, observations, reasoning, or just plain old common sense, but they are honest answers and opinions.
Thanks for letting me share with you.
