Hi folks! WikiAnswers is great! When I first came here I had seen a large black wasp at work, and was Googling to find out more about it. The first hit was someone on WikiAnswers asking the very same question!

So after surfing to my hearts content, I came back to WikiAnswers to post what I had learned. As Rick says at the end of Casablanca: 'Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.' But you can call me Scratch, not Louis or Rick

If there were more than 5 hobbies allowed, I would have included:

• watching movies, especially classics, and M. Night Shyamalan
• impressing my boss with my knowledge of useless trivia. (How can that not be an option in the drop-down menu?!)
• reminiscing about the old days of paper-and-pencil Dungeons & Dragons games
• trying to seem like a people person-- I have the skills, but very little desire, to talk to all the customers at work. I'm not a bartender, darn you all!
  
• explaining on WikiAnswers that spiders are not insects but arachnids, and you still can't find their category unless you also know that arachnids are invertebrate 'wild animals'.
  
• drinking green tea while doing any of the above

I'm like a kid in a candy store when I go to the public library, since there is no way I could afford, or have room for, all the books I read. I take a book with me everywhere--to a restaurant, the movies, the laundromat, DMV, and even to my sister's house on Christmas.

My biggest weaknesses are going out to breakfast; good manners; and polymaths like Sherlock Holmes, MacGyver, and various people who actually exist. ;-) And I cannot tell how tall people are unless I see them next to each other. Luckily, on WikiAnswers that doesn't come up much!
