Answer
Read your bible. According to Jesus all things have been revealed and there is nothing new under the sun. They have all been revealed. You just need to ask the Holy Spirit how to discern or understand them.
Answer
By and large, the new scientific research and theological insight promised is a revamping of existing ideas. But be not dismayed. It is a finely crafted program that attempts to illuminate the facts and schools of thought pointing to the origin of the Bible. The different ideas as to the number and identity of the authors who penned original documents that were then translated, edited and included (or not!) in the Bible we now use are provocative. There's something for everyone.
The program covered a lot of ground. Given the time constraints under which it had to run it did a fine job. A non-Christian could be swept up in the program and come to see the Bible in a light that might inspire curiosity. And a thinking Christian could continue to wonder about the things that have been covered over by the sands of time.
Send a message to those working in the field to dig faster and get those new finds out of the ground and onto the table where we can look at them. We're anxious for the "next wave" of discoveries that will shed new light on this most revered work. "Seek ye Him in all things" was, and continues to be, taught in many branches of Christianity.
