hello, if you can work around it,then it's less work for you. if it comes down to it, you have to, then you have too. It's totally up to you... Partner..

I can't imagine trying to change the timing belt without removing the PS/AC bracket. I would recommend removing the A/C compressor (DON'T DISCONNECT *ANY* HOSES) and disconnecting the PS as well. Taking the pumps off makes it easier to get the bracket out of the way and makes it much easier to get the belt on the aux (oil pump) pully.

NOTE that getting the PS pully off requires a special wheel puller (cheep) and a nuts and bolts rig to press it back on the pump.
