Answer
I'am a veteran mechanic and in my opinion hyundai are very weak vehicles. After 100,000 miles a hyundai is basiclly trash. It starts to lose its power and breaks apart. If this was a honda, toyota, mercedes etc... I would buy it but hyundai no way !!!!!!!!!
I have to object. I bought a 2003 XG350L with 119K miles on it and I love it!! It is mechanicaly sound, great mileage - no issues at all.
I second that objection. I bought a used 202 XG350 with 158k miles. Needed just a little work - timing belt, serpentine belt and power steering hose. Otherwise, it runs strong and smooth.
I also second that objection. I have owned one of these 2002 XG350L's since it was new, got over 120,000 on it and it still hasn't given me any problems. Except for how hard it is to change the spark plugs. Strong vehicle now, and when I bought it. It ain't the old hyundai kind, they turned the whole company around when they started that best warrantee you could buy campaign. It has worked. They can afford it 'cause the cars just keep on going.
